Reiki is a Sanskrit word that means REI, universal energy, and KI, vital energy. It is a technique of channeling and transmitting vital energy through the laying on of hands, used to achieve peace and balance on physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels.
Treatment
Reiki goes directly to the root of the problem, acting deeply, whether on a physical or emotional level. It allows the emotion or behavior pattern that created the imbalance to manifest and heal. It supports our personal growth.

I am Bienve, a Reiki Master and Therapist, and an LNT© Therapist.
My soul has chosen the path of healing, a fascinating inner journey and an eternal learning process that I am deeply passionate about.

The Reiki Method
The Method
Reiki is a natural healing method that, through an energy transfer via the hands, can improve and help heal many ailments and irregularities in the body’s functioning.
Benefits
It is a system that acts and treats absolutely all areas: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. Reiki can accelerate internal healing or self-healing by drawing out the participant’s energy capable of alleviating any ailment they suffer from. It harmonizes and balances the vibrations of the mind and body. It brings the individual to a state of real and deep relaxation. It balances the chakras or energy centers. It promotes spiritual and personal growth.
Helps
It brings feelings of joy, boosts self-esteem, and provides greater confidence. It combats stress and helps the client reconnect with themselves. It is an excellent preparation before an operation or surgery and also aids in post-operative recovery. It can significantly reduce migraines, eliminate menstrual pain, and help with depression. It can also be beneficial for disorders such as bulimia and anorexia.
In-Person Reiki
In a Reiki session, the therapist acts as a channel for energy. First, this energy flows through the therapist and then is transmitted to the recipient (person being treated). The tool used in a Reiki session is the hands (laying on of hands), which are placed on the area to be treated. Through the energetic vibrations emitted, the hands work to eliminate the knots blocking the person’s vital energy.
This process reconnects the treated person with the «whole» or vital force, achieving a state of well-being and naturally balancing the body. A session can last approximately forty-five minutes, with the patient lying on a treatment table, barefoot and fully clothed. Soft music and scents like incense or essential oils (aromatherapy) are used during the session.
Individual sessions are conducted to achieve deep relaxation and a momentary sense of well-being, or a treatment of five sessions can be carried out to more thoroughly address and resolve any state of disharmony. After completing this treatment, individual sessions can be taken as frequently as the patient needs.
